Summer Workshop Series
Join me on the patio and get creative! I’m very excited to host these special workshops this summer and share a little bit more about my process, inspiration, and passions.
Saturday, June 28th | 10:30am–12:30pm
A SECOND DATE BY POPULAR DEMAND!
Lately, I’ve been deeply inspired by the beauty of quilts and other early American folk art. They’re inspiring not only in the craftsmanship of the materials but also the storytelling embedded in their designs—and I can’t wait to share that inspiration with you!
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the magic of radial symmetry and learn how to design and paint our own folk art–inspired patterns. Using a pre-thrown 10” stoneware platter as your canvas, you’ll experiment with glaze techniques to bring your design to life—layering color, pattern, and personal meaning into a one-of-a-kind piece.
No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a love for pattern and play.
Please allow up to two weeks for firing. You’ll receive an email as soon as your finished platter is ready for pick-up.
Saturday, July 12 | 10:30am-12:30pm
Join me for a hands-on workshop where you'll create your own unique, wearable art using the finest porcelain. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced maker, this class is open to all skill levels and designed to spark your creativity.
Together, we'll explore a variety of techniques—texturing, inlaying, carving, cutting, forming, and painting—to craft one-of-a-kind porcelain jewelry pieces. Each student will have the opportunity to make up to five pairs of earrings and pendants.
To complete your creations, sterling silver ear wires will be provided for two pairs of earrings, along with one necklace for a pendant.
Please allow up to two weeks for firing. You’ll be notified by email when your finished pieces are ready for pick-up at the studio.
