Summer Workshop Series

Join me on the patio and get creative! I’m very excited to host these special workshops this summer and share a little bit more about my process, inspiration, and passions.

Folk Art Platters, May 24th
$125.00

Saturday, May 24th | 10:30am–12:30pm

Lately, I’ve been deeply inspired by the beauty of quilts and other early American folk art. They’re inspiring not only in the craftsmanship of the materials but also the storytelling embedded in their designs—and I can’t wait to share that inspiration with you!

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the magic of radial symmetry and learn how to design and paint our own folk art–inspired patterns. Using a pre-thrown 10” stoneware platter as your canvas, you’ll experiment with glaze techniques to bring your design to life—layering color, pattern, and personal meaning into a one-of-a-kind piece.

No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a love for pattern and play.

Please allow up to two weeks for firing. You’ll receive an email as soon as your finished platter is ready for pick-up.

Flower Arranging, June 28th
$125.00

Saturday, June 28th | 10:30am–12:30pm

My Swedish grandfather was known for many things—but his love of gardening is the legacy I hope to continue. Inspired by his passion, I’m working on growing and expanding my garden!

In this workshop, we’ll be arranging a selection of fresh flowers—locally sourced blooms and perhaps from my garden—into handmade K.Olson vases. Each vase is crafted from my signature “wild porcelain” blend and is included in the cost of the workshop. These vases have a simple elegance and will make a lovely and practical every-day centerpiece for your table-top.

I’ll guide you through selecting flowers and offer simple, thoughtful design tips to help you create a balanced and artful arrangement. Whether you’re a flower enthusiast or new to arranging, you’ll leave with something fresh, beautiful, and uniquely yours!
