Oxidation fired porcelain with matte ash glaze, inlaid designs, and 22k gold lustre (not recommended in microwave—hand wash or gentle dishwasher cycle). approximately 5” tall x 3.5” wide at the top and 2.75” at the bottom.

The designs are referential to the Yup’ik ivory objects I was fortunate enough to work with while at The Museum of the North. Each piece is carved with a unique design, just as the ivory objects are. I strive to achieve the perfect blending of “art” and “artifact” in my ceramic work.
